Prince Adewale Gomez popular known as the Adaba of Lagos was on Friday the 31st of December 2021 elected as the Lagos PDP man of the year 2021.

In a well fought and keenly contested online opinion poll (Scientific evaluation) organised by a Youth Support group in Mushin PDP of Lagos State, *Mushin Youths Emancipation Squad* *(MUYES)* , 5 prominent Lagos PDP stalwarts were nominated by the organizers for the 2 categories of Man and Woman of the year.

2. Dr. Ade Dosunmu 171 votes 28.64%

3. Prince Wale Gomez 304 votes 50.92%

4. Dr. Tokunbo Pearse 49 votes 8.21%

5. Sen. Babatunde O. Gbadamosi 21 votes 3.52%

In his thank you message, Prince Adewale Gomez, the leading gubernatorial aspirant of the party in the state said, “I appreciate all PDP members for their resounding support and voting overwhelmingly for me that it is an attestation to the fact that the members truly appreciate his efforts over the years to bring peace back into the party, a feat that has earned me the title of *THE ADABA OF LAGOS.*”

Moreover, he added that their overwhelming support has given him a renewed drive to further put more efforts into the service for the benefit of all PDP members in the state and indeed all Lagosians.

Finally he assured all loyal PDP members that 2022 will be the year of emancipation from the stronghold of the ruling party that has sunk governance in the state to the lowest wane.

He said that by Gods grace the year 2022 will be the birth of a new and different Lagos PDP as the feelers that the wale Gomez Movement family is getting from their soujorn within the state is that all PDP members are looking up to him especially as he has been pivotal to the peace currently being enjoyed in the party which will hopefully transform into a total victory for the party at the 2023 general elections.
