Early Life and Education

Attended St. Louis Secondary School in Kano, Earned an LLB in Law from Obafemi Awolowo University (formerly University of Ife) in 1984, Called to the Nigerian Bar in 1985, Qualified as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales after completing studies at the College of Law, London

Professional Experience

Managing Partner of Norfolk Partners, a Lagos-based law firm,Over 30 years of experience in corporate advisory, arbitration, and public policy, Sole solicitor on the Presidential Projects Assessment Committee (PPAC) from 2010 to 2011, Member of the Ministerial Committee that drafted the Roadmap for the Solid Minerals Sector in 2016.

INEC Career

National Commissioner since 2016, representing Delta, Cross River, and Akwa Ibom States, Led INEC’s Legal Services, Clearance, and Complaints Committee (LSCCC), Played a key role in electoral policy formulation, logistics oversight, and institutional compliance.
