CRITICAL ASSETS’ PROTECTION : LAGOS NSCDC, NTA ENHANCE SYNERGY

Today, Monday, 7th July, 2025, the State Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps ( NSCDC ), Lagos State Command, Mr Keshinro Adedotun, received, the General Manager, National Television Authority ( NTA ) Channel 10 Lagos, Mrs Dupe Oyewunmi, who came alongside her team, on a courtesy call to the office of the Lagos State Commandant.

 

According to SC Oluwaseun Abolurin, Civil Defence PRO, Lagos State Command, the Commandant expressed gratitude to NTA Channel 10 Lagos and the state’s media community for their dedication to promoting state security through effective collaboration with NSCDC and other security agencies.

The Lagos State Commandant also avowed, the Command’s unflinching resolve to remain committed, to a round the clock protection of our critical national assets and infrastructure across the state, visible around the oil and gas, power, telecommunications, transport, water and health sectors et ce tera.

The General Manager of NTA Channel 10 Lagos also seized, her visit to the office of the Lagos State Comandant, to seek continuous synergy between the NTA and the Corps in the state.

The Lagos General Manager of NTA 10 affirmed that the presence of NSCDC personnel in the axis where their station is situated, in Tejuosho, Yaba will automatically, make lives are property be adequately, protected and as such reduce risks and vulnerabilities of staff and people in the environment.

The Lagos State Commandant, during an interview session with the NTA crew, today, Monday, at the State Command’s Headquarters situated, in Alausa, Ikeja, promised, to ensure the strengthening of ties between both agencies of government and committed to averting the vulnerabilities that the staff and people may face due to a porous security environment.
