… Celebrates founder’s birthday, Dr. Bamidele Onalaja.

RevolutionPlus Property, Nigeria’s foremost real estate company celebrates nine years anniversary and GMD/CEO, Dr. Bamidele Onalaja’s birthday, family, friends, and staff gathered together at the office Premises today, 22, May 2023 to celebrate.

The Head Media/Public Relations, Ms Aderonke Idowu in her speech said, “RevolutionPlus Property started operations nine years ago, in May 2014, founded by a couple, Dr Bamidele Onalaja Onalaja and Mrs Tolulope Onalaja with the vision of providing affordable housing for Nigerians and bridging the housing deficit. The Company has grown over the years to create a revolution in Nigeria’s real estate sector becoming a brand that is a household name, proudly bringing the real estate dream, desires and expectations of many into reality”.

According to her, “As the company clocks 10 years next week, we plan to unveil the new phase of RevolutionPlus Property. In celebration of one decade in the real estate sector, we plan to build low cost houses – 2 bedroom and 3 bedrooms in fulfilling our mandate of helping Nigerians who never thought they will own a home.We plan to sell affordable lands with good payment plans to assist in bridging the housing deficit in Nigeria.

“Affordable housing still remains our mantra and we will keep striving to outdo our past and keep maneuvering the enormous challenges associated with delivering affordable housing in Nigeria.

“We pride ourself as one of the foremost Real estate company that has made land and home ownership accessible to the ordinary Nigerians as a private organization CBOF RevolutionPlus is not just providing housing for the Nigerians; we have a CSR arm, Chris Bamidele Onalaja Foundation (CBOF) which has been uplifting widows, children, youths and venuerable members of our society.

“CBOF has done various medical outreaches in towns and villages in South West, Nigeria. The communities include Ibeju-Lekki, Ido Local Government, Ibadan; Agbede-Odubose , Ikorodu, Obada and Molaka Community in Abeokuta Ogun State and many more.

“Both young and old, men and women have benefitted from these free medical outreaches.Also under this area- child and maternal health, we are constructing an ultra-modern child and maternal care center in Amuwo-Odofin area of Lagos.We already did an elaborate groundbreaking ceremony to flag off this multi-million naira worth project.

“Education and Scholarship: Under this area we have built schools, given scholarships to students, given out educational items including computer systems freely for students. One of our school projects, we have Toldel nursery and primary school in Ikorodu area of Lagos with over 90 pupils enrolled.

” In this school, the pupils are not paying a dime as school fees, once they enroll, freely, they are given free exercise books, free school bags among others. All the teachers and admin staff of the school are paid by CBOF and the pupils get to enjoy solid education, freely.

” Also at Wasimi Junior High School, Lagos we built blocks of classroom, principal’s office, assembly ground and donated educational materials to the school We also handed an edifice constructed by us to be used as Learning Center School in Maroko and donated to Innercity Missions of Christ Embassy church.

” Water Sanitation and Hygiene: In contributing to providing safe drinking water, CBOF has drilled boreholes in different communities, in South West Nigeria, built public toilet in Cane Village, Maryland and other communities in the country.

“We have donated boreholes to four communities in Ijebu Ishonyin, Ogun State.We want our communities to be safe and secured, this is why we have constructed police stations with offices, fully built and handed over to Nigeria Police in communities in Ijebu-Ishonyi and other locartions in South West Nigeria. We also refurbished police stations in Lagos State.

“Economic and Community Development: We’ve worked with Lagos State government in sponsorship of Lagos City Marathon Race back to back for the past 4 years.During the 2020 COVID-19 lockdown, we distributed palliatives (big bags of food items) to over 1,000 households in Ise, Lepia, Folu and Olofin towns of ibeju Lekki, in Lagos State with a commendation letter from Lagos state government.

“Also, we extended same gestures to residents of other states – Challenge Ibadan, ring road area in Ibadan, Ido and Elebu communities in Oyo State also with a letter of commendation from Oyo State Government.

“Widows Empowerment: Various batches of widows have benefitted from CBOF widows empowerment and skills acquisition and free training numbering over 1000. These women were trained in various skills like soap making and empowered with equipment to start-up their business after the training. Kits like grinding machines, hairdryers, sewing machines and more were given to each of these widows. They were also given cash gifts as there start-up capital”.

The Group Executive Director of the company (GED), Mrs Tolulope Bamidele Onalaja in her speech while addressing the journalists at their office in Ikeja, thanked God for adding another year to RevolutionPlus Property and her husband added another year. Mrs Bamidele noted that as part of the programme scheduled every year to mark the anniversary and birthday celebrations they visited christ Embassy orphanage home where they distributed millions food Items to the orphans.

Speaking further, she said, “We have over 44 estates across Nigeria and eight mega housing projects. All these estates are situated in various locations in Nigeria including Lekki, Ajah, Epe, Ibeju-Lekki, Ikorodu,Shimawa, Mowe Abeokuta, Ibadan, Port Harcourt and FCT Abuja”. We have allocated 11,102 plots and RevolutionPlus Property has made over 11,000 Nigerians landlords and still counting” though, affordable housing is tough and challenging, RevolutionPlus Property have been able to provide lands to buy at affordable prices and also providing affordable low cost houses accessible to Nigerians, in diasporas.” By God’s grace, when RevolutionPlus will 10- 15 years we will deliver 20,000 affordable houses Nigeria”

Mrs Bamidele while fielding questions
from Journalists said, “the government have been commending all our efforts in all our givings and empowerments, we dont give to people because we want tax reduction, but we are doing it for God according to our callings”.

Also reacting to a question on negative publicity on allegations of allocation of lands, especially to Nigerians in diaspora. She responded that” though customers are right but, 90% of customers crying over allocations are yet to complete their payments, so without completing payments, lands cannot be allocated.

“Eventually, Some of them don’t comply with the initial agreements of the forms  given to them to fill, stating the terms and conditions of payments but, they wont even read before they append their signatures”. She said.
