Retired IGP Tafa Balogun died in Lagos Hospital.
Former Inspector General of Police (IGP) Mustafa Adebayo Balogun reportedly died of heart related diseases in Reddington Hospital, Lagos today Thursday August 4, 2022.
Balogun, who was eased out of office by the then president Olusegun Obasanjo over corruption allegations.
He was Nigeria’s 11th IGP, he died at the age of 74.
Tafa Balogun was born on August 25, 1947, he became the IGP on March 6, 2002, and was retired on January 17, 2005.
