SECURITY AND SAFETY CONFERENCE: OGUN NSCDC MOVES TO REPOSITION ITS PERSONNEL FOR BETTER SERVICE DELIVERY, SYNERGY AND COLLABORATION WITH ALL.

In line with the dreams and aspirations of the Corps Commandant General, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, National Headquarters, Abuja, Ahmed Abubakar Audi (PhD, mni), the State Commandant and his management team cutting across all formations in the State held a conference to deliberate on the ways to improve service delivery to the people on Tuesday, July 26, 2022.

In a press statement by the State Public Relations Officer, Dyke Ogbonnaya who noted that the conference which was held at the State Command’s Permanent Site, Owu Dekudu Village, Off Kobape Road, Abeokuta, Ogun State, had in attendance: the State Commandant, Commandant Niyi L. Ajibola and heads of: Administration, Operations, Intelligence and Investigations, Technical and Works, Critical National Assets and Infrastructure and Crises Management Departments.

Also present at the conference were: the Area Commanders and all Divisional Officers across the State numbering 71.

According to the State Commandant, “It should not be business as usual rather a time to bring real service delivery to the people through professionalism and excellence”.

“The State and indeed the country requires all hands to be on deck in the business of protecting the lives and property of the masses, citizens and people of the State against all forms of threats, hooliganism, brigandage amongst others”, he intoned.

Commandant Ajibola charged all the participants to be up and doing in their respective positions especially by being responsive and responsible to the yearnings of the common man in the State through ardent selflessness and humility in service delivery.

He promised to give all the necessary support to their challenges by addressing them squarely as deem fit but urged them to be all out in safeguarding the lives and property of the people in their various localities.
