Covenant University donated a patrol vehicle to the Area Command, Ota to strengthen Security.
Bishop David Oyedepo, the general Overseer of Living Faith Church, Faith Tabernacle, (A.K.A Winners’ Chapel International) Ota, donates a patrol vehicle to the area command to strengthen security.
The founder of Winners Chapel commended the efforts and responsiveness of the Area Commander, ACP Muhammed Musa. He applauded him for his proactiveness in strengthening security in the area, especially for bringing crime and criminality to the barest minimum, the Area Commander, who has zero tolerance to crime has been able to achieve this through synergy with other sister agencies and CSO’s of different companies.
However, he has been able to tackle crime through community policing, in collaboration with the traditional leaders, Obas, Chiefs, Baales of different communities, stakeholders, okada riders, Vigilantes, hoteliers, traders, businesmen, businesswomen, companies owners, artisans etc.
Also, having meetings with rectors of higher institutions, youths management, student unions, secondary Principals, students to review and find strategic solutions to crime, cultism and strengthen security.
In addition, the issue of traffic robbery has been so rampant, because of the proximity, miscreants migrate from neighbouring towns and cities to operate in the area, some measures has been taking as well to tackle it.
Through quick response to distress calls, mounting men and police officers in stragetic positions, stop and search, motorcycles patrol, and patrol vehicles, the area Command have able to curtail their activities and bringing sanity to the area.
