The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Hakeem Odumosu, today paid an unscheduled work visit to the Area ‘G’ Ogba.

According to the PPRO, CSP Adekunle Ajisebutu in a statement said, the visit was part of the CP’s supervisory strategies to determine the level of alertness of the officers and men of the Area Command Headquarters, and also put them on their toes.

During the visit, the CP inspected the cell and subsequently directed that it should be decongested and the suspects transferred to the Correctional Centres after conducting COVID-19 tests on them.

Earlier, the CP had paid a similar visit to his alma mater, the Nigerian Institute of Journalism, Ogba where he was received, with conviviality, by the Provost of the Institute, Mr Gbenga Adefaye and his Management Team.

The visit to the NIJ was to further cement the existing synergy between the Institute and the Lagos State Police Command in the overall interest of Lagos residents.
