CP AJOGUN CHARGES THE MILITARY, POLICE AND PARAMILITARY PUBLIC RELATIONS OFFICERS FORUM (MILPOPROF) SPOKEPERSONS IN OGUN TO SUSTAIN RELEVANCE OF THIER AGENCIES.

The Ogun State Commissioner of Police, CP. Edward Awolowo Ajogun, has charged the public relations officers otherwise known as Spoke persons of all various Securities and Safety agencies, serving in Ogun State to sustain the relevance of their individual organisations by being creative in discharging their duties to their respective agencies.

In a statement by the NSCDC State spokesperson, Dyke Ogbonnaya  noted that CP
Ajogun gave this charge when the Military, Police and Paramilitary Public Relations Officers’ Forum (MILPOPROF) members, led by their Chairman, DSP. Abimbola Oyeyemi who doubles as the State PPRO, led the forum on a courtesy and familiarisation visit to the Commissioner of Police in his office at the Ogun State Command Headquarters of the Nigeria Police Force Headquarters, Eleweran, Abeokuta on Tuesday.


He said “As the image maker of your respective organisations, you must sustain the relevance of your services so that your organisations will continue to earn their respects in the mind of the audience and general public.”

He also advised the image makers to monitor the activities of their organisations. “Monitor the activities of your service to make sure that your organisation is discharging its statutory and mandatory roles”.He added.

The agencies Spoke Persons and some representatives that were in attendance include that of: The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Nigeria Navy, Police, Immigration, Federal Fire, Correctional Service, NDLEA, FRSC, Ogun State Fire Service, TRACE Corps, SO-SAFE Corps.
