FAKE PROPHETESS WHO KILLS CHILDREN FOR RITUALS NABBED IN ONISHA.
A fake prophetess known as Mrs. Chidi Nwafor, age 80 and her abettor, Rejoice Raymond, are in police custody for allegedly killing many children in her church for rituals and subjecting three other minors to physical and emotional torture after being starved for hours.
An eyewitness and reports said that many children were found unconscious in the woman’s home in Onisha, also, the woman lures children whom she allegedly butchered for rituals.
The incident took place at the Federal Housing Estates 3-3 Nkwelle Ezunaka in Oyi Local Government Area of Anambra State. The suspects allegedly confined the victims, two boys and a girl, inside different rooms at No.13 Akunwanta Mbamalu Street of the area.
According to the State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), CSP Haruna Mohammed, noted the children were rescued and rushed to the hospital for medical attention.
He said the Commissioner of Police, Monday Bala Kuryas, has ordered for a discreet investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident after which suspects would be brought to justice.

He added: “On February 19, 2021 at about 5:50pm, following intelligence report, police operatives attached to 3-3 Police Station Nkwelle Ezunaka arrested two suspects, Rejoice Raymond (39) of Akunwanta Mbamalu Street, Federal Housing Estates 3-3 Area, Anambra State and Mrs Chidi Felicia Nwafor (80) of same address.
“Suspects allegedly confined three children (2 boys and a girl) inside different rooms at No.13 Akunwanta Mbamalu Street, Federal Housing Estates 3-3 Nkwelle Ezunaka and subjected them into physical and emotional torture without feeding and inflicted several wounds on their body leaving them unconscious.
“The scene was visited by the DPO 3-3 CSP Abdu Bawa where gory sights of badly battered victims, one with a broken arm were found in the pool of their blood and whose parents were neither seen nor known.
“Preliminary investigation further revealed some fetish substances, blood stained canes, concoctions and other incriminating items which were all recovered inside the rooms and registered as exhibits.”
